Often left aside by most of the super car manufacturers, this year the American market will receive the visit of a very special new such vehicle. As of today, the countdown clock to the delivery of the first Pagani Huayra on continental USA has begun.
Pagani confirmed this week that their latest child will be hitting US shores by the end of this year. The model will become the first Pagani to be available on the American market and, at the same time, the preferred tool of expansion chosen by the auto maker.
"We are thrilled at the opportunity to represent the Pagani brand in the United States and we look forward to the successful launch of the Huayra," said Horacio Pagani, the company founder. "This automobile is the result of five years of dedicated effort from the Pagani team and we see this as an unprecedented opportunity to continue expanding our vision of the future for the supercar industry."
The road-going God of Wind packs a hell of a power plant, a 6.0l Mercedes-AMG V12 Bi-Turbo. Out of it, an immense 700 horsepower troop comes to push the 1.350 kg of the car (2,976 pounds), well, very fast (performance data not yet available).
The prices for the model have not yet been announced, but expect it to make all those horses worth something. Pagani will release in the coming month the full details about the vehicle, as well as the roll out plans for the US market. And, don't worry, the super car complies with the strictest European and American standards in terms of safety and pollution regulations.
