Pagani C9 Could be Called Huayra

There are still a lot of things we don’t know about the Zonda’s replacement but now it seems that we know who we are talking about. According to Al Volante, Pagani has registered the Huayra name. The name, which can give your tongue a really hard time, means “wind” in the Quechua ancient South American language.

This makes sense, as Pagani has pulled such a move before - Zonda is the name of an Argentinean wind. We’ll remember you that Pagani hasn’t bothered to offer the vehicle a proper name until now, using the C9 internal code for it.

The same source states that the first images of the Huayara should hit the world wide web by the end of the current month. As for the real vehicle, we’ll probably have to wait until the Geneva Auto Show to meet it in person.

We can see it now: a hypercar driver is cruising around, when he sees a point in his rear view mirror. The point quickly becomes a silhouette and the man behind the wheel realizes that he’s only got little time to press the “turbo-nutter’hyper-blaster-sport” button.

However, before his four-wheeled robot is ready for the road battle, the car behind him makes the pass and he only has one second to see its name, but this is so strange that he can’t keep it in his memory. Thus, he remains in a state of shock for a long period of time, as he never knew what hit him.
