Do you often say to yourself “hey, you handsome millionaire why don’t you ignore that sexy ultra-fast 458 Italia and just but a dubious supercar from Ferrari’s glorious past?”
We do, all the time in fact... if we were handsome millionaires... and we aren’t. If you like the look of this old F40, we have good news for you, because it’s for sale on eBay Motors right now, with the ‘Buy It Now” button saying you have to pay $595,000. The car is a 1990 model year and has 6,699, mostly spent in New Orleans, Louisiana.

It’s also got the original paint on it, untouched since it was bought and no body panels have been damaged.

The F40 was at the time the most profitable car for Ferrari, having been sold in 1,300 examples. We don’t really care about that, but we’re curiosu about the practicality. The F40 was as stripped out as they got at the time - no carpet, radio, electric windows, airbags or navigation. YOu could only have it with a manual and the seats are cloth.

The F40 is powered by a 3.0-liter V8 good for about 480 horsepower. The 0 to 62 sprint is dealt with in 3.8 seconds and top speed is 201.3 mph (324 km/h).

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
