Nurburgring Driving Lesson: Sub7 VW Up! Passes a Ferrari Scuderia

Now, before we talk about this Nordschleife, allow us to point out that the lack of Ring knowledge that leads to plenty of Touristenfahrten (Tourist Days) crashes. As such, the Nordschleife specialists mentioned above have started promoting a trend that sees underpowered machines being used as Ring tools.

Case in point with the example we have here, which involves a VW Up! that wears the Sub7 moniker. We've talked about this Vee-Dub on previous occasions and, despite the tuning bits on the car, you shouldn't let yourself be fooled by its nickname, which is more of a trolling move than an actual target. For now, the machine is a sub-9 contraption, which is still impressive considering its 125 hp output and its high center of gravity.

Regardless, the driver of the Sub7Up provides a full BTG (Bridge To Gantry) guide, delivering plenty of details as he blitzes the infamous German circuit in the spiced-up supermini.
