With the Mustang’s 50th anniversary right around the corner, the recently released Forza Motorsport 5 video game is now offering you the chance to drive the iconic 1965 Mustang GT Coupe model.
The pony is part of a the new Alpinestars Car Pack that was introduced earlier this month. Available at $9.99, the bundle includes nine more vehicles, ranging from classic cars from the 1960s to the facelifted 2013 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG.
If you’re crazy about vintage metal, you’ll be able to drive the 1969 Ferrari Dino 246 GT, , while the Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE, Alfa Romeo Spider QV and the Volkswagen Scirocco will take you back to the 1980s.
More recent road and track cars that are available with the new pack include the 1999 Toyota GT-ONE TS020, 2011 Radical SR8 RX, 1997 Mitsubishi GTO and the 2012 Ultima GTR720.
In case you missed it, Turn 10 also introduced the Road America track as a free add-on last month. The famous raceway was rebuilt for the new game and can be integrated into the players’ current career racing series.
Additionally, users who purchased the Car Pass also got five extra cars free of charge, including the 2006 Audi Sport North America R8, 1995 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1, 1968 Ferrari 365 GTB/4, 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 and the 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL AMG Black Series.
