Toyota’s two local joint-ventures in China, FAW Group and Guangzhou Automobile Group, reported 40.7 percent bigger November sales, with around 89,800 units sold there last month.
The increase follows the 80.6 and 63.5 percent year-on-year increases from October and September. The massive increases are the result of the anti-Japan riots from last year over some disputed islands in the East China Sea, which drastically affected Japanese products sold in China.

The situation appears to have had extinguished now and the company is on its way to meet its sales forecast for this year. Toyota sold about 809,000 vehicles in the first 11 months of 2013, representing a 7.9 percent increase over last year, after it said to sell around 900,000 units earlier in August.
