Toyota Motor Corporation just announced financial results for the six-moth period ended on September 30th 2013, totaling 12.53 trillion yen ($126.7 billion), representing a 14.9 increase compared to the same period last year.
Japan sales decreased by 90,724 units, still managing to sell the impressive number of 1,101,206 vehicles, while North America sales rose by 37,316 units reaching 1,298,044 total vehicles.
The Asian market received 779,586 new Toyota vehicles in the last six-month period, which is 60,279 units less than the same period in 2012.
In Europe, vehicle sales totaled 406,934 units, a decrease of 5,232 units, while other regions (including Central and South America, Oceania, Africa and the Middle East) sales have increased by 70,494 units, reaching 881,991 vehicle sold.
