It's a big day for Japanese carmaker Nissan, one that doesn't get to enjoy the thrills of launching new products all that often these days. That's because on the first day of August, the new variants of the Fairlady head-turner got here, and at least on the Japanese market, there are no less than seven of them.
Spearheading the range is, of course, the Fairlady Z NISMO, a beast of a machine we've already discussed in detail. As a quick reminder though, here's what Nissan did to this car to make it relevant for the new model year.

On the visual front, the changes include a redesign of some parts exclusive to this kind of Fairlady, meaning the front grille (which now comes with a mesh you may be familiar with from the 2024 Nissan GT-R), the two bumpers, the fender moldings, rear spoiler, and rear LED fog lamps.

New wheels are on deck, sized 19 inches in diameter and made from forged aluminum. They are spun by the Fairlady NISMO's usual VR30DDTT powerplant, only further tuned into developing 420 horsepower (up from 405) and 520 Nm of torque, up from 475 Nm.

This Fairlady is already available on the Japanese market, and there Nissan is asking 9.2 million yen for one. That's the equivalent of $64,500, but Americans should probably expect a slightly different price when the car arrives stateside later this fall as the Nissan Z NISMO.

Aside from this most potent variant there are six other Fairladies the Japanese can already get their hands on. I'm talking about the Fairlady Z (with both manual and automatic transmission), Fairlady Z Version S, Fairlady Z Version ST, Fairlady Z Version T, and Fairlady Z Version ST. The cheapest of them all is the simple Z, which retails from 5.4 million yen ($37,800).

Customers can choose from a palette of four colors for any of the Fairladies, including a new 432 Orange meant to be a tribute to the S30 of the 1960s and 1970s. A fifth color, something called Steel Grey/Super Black, can only be had for the NISMO variant.

You can find the full price list for the Japanese market below this text, but you have to keep in mind that it's only the starting price. Nissan plans to complicate matters a lot, and announced the launch of the new Nissan Genuine Accessory Package later this fall, in October to be precise.

This package is meant to pay tribute to the Fairlady Z Customized Edition shown at the beginning of the year at the Tokyo Auto Salon. The Fairlady Z Customized Edition package will come in two variants, entry-level and full, with the latter meant to recreate the model shown on the floor in Tokyo. Pricing for neither of the two packages has been announced yet.
