Nissan has just lowered the price for its UK-bound Micra, which now starts at just £7,995, or £99 per month, if a lease is what you’re after. However, despite lowering the price, they have removed none of the equipment the car came with.
It still features Bluetooth connectivity, an auxiliary input for MP3 players, as well as front electric windows as standard, for the basic Visia version. Pay £9,995, and the Accenta model adds air-con, 15-inch alloys, fog lamps and a leather clad steering wheel.

Nissan is also offering a new and more stylish addition to their range, called the Micra ELLE, after the famous women’s magazine. It gets touch-screen sat-nav, music streaming, climate control, panoramic roof and painted 15-inch alloys, with special ELLE logos. This particular version will set you back £11,195, or £139 per month.

However, sitting at the top of the range we find the Micra Tekna, which adds parking sensors, automatic headlights and rain sensing wipers as well as climate control. This is the most expensive car in the range, costing some £11,545, or £149 per month.

Powering the Micra are two petrol engines, both 1.2-liter. One has 80 hp, while the other has a supercharger and is good for 98 hp. Both engines can be had with either a five-speed manual or a CVT gearbox.
