Nissan GT-R Undecorates a Christmas Tree in 2.7 Seconds. No Kidding

Now that Christmas has passed, many people look at the tree in their living room and feel an increasing pressure to bring the room back to normal. This, of course, implies getting rid of all the decorations and storing the tree (or throwing it away, if you're the kind who buys live ones).
Even a three-year-old will tell you the level of enthusiasm for the Christmas clean-up operation usually sits at the other end of the scale (compared to the feelings and emotions you experienced when setting up the Christmas tree).

Well, Nissan has a solution for us. And yes, this involves a GT-R. The automaker is inviting us to undecorate the Christmas tree using Godzilla's staggering 0 to 60 launch.

The company has even delivered a video that shows what happens when such a stunt takes place - spoiler alert: you'll have to get the tree out of the house before attempting such a move, at least if you care about stuff such as furniture, windows or carpets.

We applaud Nissan's effort to assist with such chores and we can't help but think that, despite the unconventional approach, this release is typical of the company.

Those of you following Nissan throughout the year that has just passed know the company has been one of the most active in the auto industry in terms of such viral stunts.

We're not sure which of Nissan's digital marketing moves is our favorite, though. For instance, Nissan trolling Ferrari by offering Deadmau5 a GT-R with a Nyan Cat theme put quite a smile on our face.

Then again, the time when they explained the posterior of the R35 is larger than that of Kim Kardashian also has serious chances of receiving the accolade mentioned above. For one thing, this showed Kim the internet was not exactly broken by her questionable (we're trying really hard to be nice here) photo shoot.

Returning to more Safe For Work matters, we want to remind you not to try such undecoration stunts at home. That would probably make Santa angry.
