With electric scooters retailing for more and more affordable prices in Europe, we expect to see a lort of such vehicles darting on the streets of the busy cities. One of these new scooters is the Easy 2000, from the Spanish manufacturer Nimoto.
With a 50-80 km (31-49.7 miles) range depending on the battery type, the Nimoto Easy 2000 can be easily recharged pretty much anywhere. There are two versions, one equipped with a standard lead-calcium battery, with Lithium being the other, and they can be recharged during 5-7 and 3-5 hours, respectively. The Lithium-equipped battery reaches an operative 80% charge in two hours.

The Nimoto Easy 2000 weighs in at 130 kg (287 lbs) with the lead battery and only 101 kg (223 lbs) for the Lithium version, and they can reach up to 45 km/h (28 mph). The price includes a handy top case, and you can get the Nimoto Easy 2000 standard for €1,999 ($2,600), while the Lithium version sells for €2,799 ($3,646).
