Amidst the whole uncertainty regarding which F1 driver moves to what team, rumors that Nico Rosberg might make the switch from his current team, Mercedes, to McLaren, for the 2013 season have surfaced. However, the 27 year-old German has denied them, saying: "I’m definitely with the Silver Arrows (Mercedes) and I’m looking forward to getting some more race wins next season."
When asked about Michael Schumacher future with the team, he replied: "I think it would be right if he stays [. . .] We get along well, the competition between us is good, Michael is still at a very, very high level and it’s a real challenge to race against him [. . .] We push the team forwards well."
The original rumor kicked off when rumors that British driver, Lewis Hamilton was considering a very generous monetary offer to join Mercedes as of next year, and Rosber was touted as a worthy replacement for him at McLaren.
