The Ford Mustang is all about the options list! You can never have the base model with nothing on it because then you’ll spend the rest of your years thinking of superchargers and racing kit. But what does the future hold for the mighty ‘Stang - will there still be a place for ‘awesome’ and ‘insane’ alongside ‘sensible’ and ‘reasonable’ when they turn it into a global car with the next generation.
According to a report from Mustang Daily, the future of one extreme pony is safe with the arrival of the next generation. That’s because Shelby American president John Luft has confirmed the GT500 will continue to be part of the Mustang lineup with the next generation. That’s because Ford and Shelby have continued their agreement beyond 2015.

The next Mustang is expected to be revealed in 2014 as a 2015 model year car. Radical changes are expected, including an Ecoboost four-cylinder engine for the base car.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
