Bugatti will preview its next model next month but it appears the company doesn't plan to showcase the car at the Frankfurt Auto Show or any other public event. Instead, the French manufacturer will present the car to a number of potential clients for feedback on whether the company should start production of the car or not.
Autocar.co.uk writes that the model to be revealed next month will be just one of three projects for the next Bugatti, as the automaker designed several proposals. They will be all revealed in the upcoming months to a limited number of people.
Bugatti's Dr. Franz-Josef Pfaegen told the aforementioned source that the future model will have nothing in common with the recently-revealed Bentley Mulsanne sedan - as some media reports suggested.
"A Bugatti saloon will have different dimensions and be a completely different concept. In fact it’s hard to find any similarites at all with the new Bentley," he commented on the rumors. "A Bugatti is designed and developed for a total volume of not more than 150, so that allows completely different materials and technology."
Additionally, Pfaegen revealed the future Bugatti models will boast the same top-notch features we've seen on the Veyron. "The worse thing that we could do is to go downmarket, we need to keep it as the ultimate," he said.
Bugatti recently debuted Sang Bleu Grand Sport, a special model design to honor Bugatti's 100th anniversary, which is also rumored to be the last Veyron that reaches the market before the public debut of the new model.
