One day ago, we showed you a teaser photo that Spanish automaker SEAT release via its Facebook page. The headlights peaking under the covers looked like the ones on the brand new Leon C-segment hatchback, which is built on the same platform as the VW Golf VII and Skoda Octavia III. Some of the comments on the Facebook page suggested it was the wagon version or the new Cupra, but we were so sure it was the Leon SC (Sports Coupe) that we made it the title of our story.
Bound for the Geneva Motor Show, the new Leon SC has leaked onto the internet a few hours before SEAT actually reveals official information. However, with an engine range that's borrowed from the five-door and looks that pretty much explain themselves, we're not expecting any surprises.
The Leon FR pictured above is the sportiest trim configuration, and is going to be available with the following engines: 1.4 TSI 140PS; 1.8 TSI 180PS; 1.8 TSI DSG-auto; 2.0 TDI 150PS; 2.0 TDI 150PS DSG-auto.
