A new generation of the Porsche Cayman has just been unveiled at the Los Angeles International Auto Show and it is now time to find out the financial side of the new coupe.
Of course, it all depends on which side of the pond you find yourself. If you live in the US, where the car is set to reach showroom in Spring next year, the Cayman will set you back at least $52,600, while the Cayman S comes with a starting price of $63,800 - the values do not include the $950 destination charge.
In its home country, the Cayman starts at €51,385, while if you want the Cayman S you’ll have to part ways with €64,118 (both prices include 19 percent VAT). UK buyers will have to pay £39,694 for the base model and £48,783 if they want the sportier version.
We’ll remind you that the Cayman is powered by a 2.7-liter flat six with 271 hp (275 ps) and the Cayman S packs 321 hp (325 ps) coming from a 3.4-liter flat-six. Yes, these are the same engines from the Boxster, but each one’s hp rating has been boosted by 10.
