A new automotive show will be born in the U.S., as the Los Angeles Motorexpo will debut on May 10, at the Bank of America Plaza in downtown Los Angeles.
The event features some of the most prestigious car and motorcycle brands worldwide and uses an innovative display mode, as the cars and bike showcases are positioned among the fountains, lush garden and artwork throughout the outdoor and indoor spaces of the plaza.
The Motorexpo offers attenders a chance to see, climb aboard and even test drive vehicles belonging to brands like Audi, Aston Martin, Spyker, Lotus, Lamborghini, Ducati, Ford, Cadillac, General Motors, Jaguar, Lincoln, Volvo, Buick and others. The exhibition can be visited free of charge.
“From the debut of the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera to vehicle ride and drives, this inaugural event will showcase all that is hot on both two and four wheels,” stated the press release.
The Los Angeles Motorexpo is modeled after the Canary Wharf London Motorexpo, which is the United Kingdom’s biggest free attendance automotive event and the New York Motorexpo, which takes place annually at the World Financial Center.
“The Motorexpo is a proven format which delivers exceptional results and I am delighted that, despite the ongoing tough economic climate, in 2010 our planned expansion will continue when we deliver our first Motorexpo to our new Los Angeles audience and that we already have confirmation for the Toronto Motorexpo which is set to be unveiled in 2011,” said Here Graeme Carver, Motorexpo Managing Director and President.
