November 18th: that's the day the MINI revolution starts, hopefully a full turnaround for the British marque. The new generation of hatchback has just made its official debut, and you can check out full details about the car on our dedicated BMW Power Blog.

But we aren't here to talk about the present, we're here to talk about the future. Based on the latest 2014 MINI Cooper S press photos, X-Tomi Design has rendered the Convertible version as well.

The cool thing is, thanks to last week's spyshots, we can tell you that the that this is exactly what the car looks like. So what about the stats? Well, this Cooper S Convertible will have a 2-liter TwinPower Turbo engine, good for 192 hp and 280 Nm of torque. In the hardtop, 0 to 100 km/h takes 6.8 seconds with a manual and 6.7s with an optional automatic, but this heavier rag-top will be a little slower.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
