After almost a year of absence, Lexus re-enters the luxury compact sedan with its all new IS model range, which not only has the looks but also the performance to threat its German competitors. At least the diesel ones.
While some people are disappointed by the new Lexus IS’ performance, it still represents a threat for the Audi A4, BMW 3-Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class in efficiency matter.
As a customer who wants a good looking luxury sedan that won’t need refueling very often, you can either stick to the rattling German diesels, or get yourself a Lexus IS 300h, powered by a 2.5-liter petrol V6 and an electric motor that totals 220 bhp.
