With only about a week since Lexus joined Instagram, they have already started a very cool and unique project using the social media app as a very creative tool. So all those “Look what I’m eating now” Instagram users should watch and learn.
Lexus gathered over 200 instagrammers in a world’s first creative collaboration to create a film using on photo at a time, frame-by-frame, just like those interesting stop motion animations you’ve probably seen.
Of course, the project means more than bringing a Lexus IS and people starting to randomly point their smartphones at its lines. It requires a lot of coordination and each has to be placed in a specific place, pointing the camera at the right angle, not to mention the work of compiling hundreds of stills into an animated sequence.
