After its debut at the Detroit Auto Show in mid-January, the new Lexus IS sedan is going to make its European debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
This time, it will be shown in hybrid form, as the IS 300h, a new powertrain that combines a 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine running on the Atkinson cycle with an efficient electric motor. The model will likely be offered exclusively with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) driving the rear wheels.

Also on show in Geneva will be a refreshed version of the LF-LC Concept, shown in Opal Blue. The model previews a possible new large coupe model for Lexus, a bit like BMW 6-Series, but with a distinct Japanese luxury flavor. The car was designed in California strictly as a concept but response has been so great that it might be put into production.

So with both current and future Lexus products on show, this year's Geneva Motor Show promises to be a good one.
