Now that the facelifted Fiesta is out on the market, Ford is taking the time to introduce the light commercial vehicle version, the Fiesta Van. This is already available for order, with the first customer deliveries scheduled to take place in January next year.
The compact work horse features all the changes brought by the facelift, offering a load length of 1.3 meters, a load space of 1.0 cubic meters and a payload ranging between 485 and 508 kg. The load compartment features a steel bulkhead and four four cargo tie-down hooks, as well as special sidewall trimming and a rubber floor mat.

The range of engines includes two diesel engines and one petrol unit. The oil burners are a 1.5-liter Duratorq TDCi unit with 75 hp and a 1.6-liter Duratorq TDCi delivering 95 hp. As for the petrol choice, this is a 82 hp 1.25-liter Duratec.

There’s also an efficiency-dedicated Fiesta Van ECOnetic version, which uses the 95 hp 1.6-liter diesel with standard Auto-Start-Stop, lowered suspension, aerodynamic tweaks for the rear underbody and wheel trimming, as well as low rolling resistance tires.

The Fiesta Van comes with segment-first technologies: the in-car connectivity system SYNC with Emergency Assistance, Active City Stop that help drivers avoid low speed accidents, as well as the MyKey programmable key system. As for the convenience features, these include goodies such as Hill Start Assist and Rear View Camera.
