Rarely do we get the occasion to write about sportsmen that actually drive other cars than the luxury SUVs and the high-life exotic supercars. And it’s not just that we are kind of into the old-school rides, but we love seeing footballers driving some of the classic American made beauties. New England Patriots’ cornerback Brandon Browner is one of those fellows.
Like we all know by now, the Patriots won the Super Bowl XLIX against Seattle Seahawks. This most likely must have been quite awkward for Browner who signed with the New England team back in March on a three-year, $17 million dollar contract. He helped the Patriots win this year’s most viewed game over his former team, the Seattle Seahawks. But that’s just sports.
Getting back to his ride for a second, it appears the LA, California-born sportsman had it recently updated with some nice little rims. To be more precise, Brandon Browner is driving a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 convertible and he got it upgraded with 22-inch Forgiato tires. That’s rather common for rappers to be honest, but as far as we know he has nothing to do with music.
Well, almost nothing, since he was quite harsh on Kanye West’s little prank the rapper pulled off at this year’s Grammy Awards. Browner in fact joined the big wave of criticism addressed to the Otis singer starting a Twitter reprisal in which he called Kim Kardashian’s husband “a sucka”.
“Peep who he tried Beck and Taylor Swift. Real tough guy. If only I could’ve been Beck for one night. Kanye would be rapping thru the wire”, Browner went on righting on his Twitter account.
