For a 6 ft (1.83 m) fellow weighing 235 lb (107 kg), Jon Beason sure likes his cars all low and sporty. On the other hand, the 30-year old footballer is living in New York so it’s not really that of a big surprise the Giants’ linebacker went for Audi’s 2-seater sportscar.
After playing college football for the University of Miami, he was drafted by the Carolina Panthers 25th overall in the 2007 NFL Draft. Jonathan Bason is currently playing for the New York Giants a team he’ll most likely stay with for some time since the two came to an agreement on a new contract last year, in March.

Like all the sportsmen out there, Beason too loves fast cars and also likes them all pimped-out. How do we know this? Because we just stumbled upon the sportsman’s R8 while it was being customized by the folks over at Metro Wrapz. Apart from a grey bodywork, it appears the car also received some shiny Forgiato rims.

Since now we know what he’s driving, we’re wondering if Beason is planning to get the new R8 Audi keeps teasing fans with lately. We’re probably about a week or so from the official unveiling of the new two-seater sportscar and like we previously said, it’s going to be a blast. The V8 might be out of discussion, but that 5.2-liter V10 engine developing 540 PS and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) doesn’t sound so bad.

Say the footballer really wants to spice up his life, he could also go for the R8 V10 Plus which most likely has 610 PS at 8,150 rpm and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque.

I guess we’re going to have to wait and see if he’ll buy one or not.
