Citroen has managed to keep their new car under wraps, but only just. Yesterday, we showed you the first teaser photo released by the French themselves via Facebook, and now we give you a better, but still incomplete look at the car.
It was spotted on the streets in Paris only recently, where Maelle Goutin of News2zest captured this photo. The DS9 is still mostly covered up, but you can make out more of the details on the wheels, door sills and lower front bumper.
The sheer size of the thing gives us a bit more confidence in saying this is the pre-production concept form of the DS9, since we’ve also never heard anything about a DS7. If this is indeed the case, the platform will be borrowed from the Citroen C6 and Peugeot 407, though this will be extensively modified.
Rumor has it that the DS9 will use one of PSA’s all-wheel drive hybrid drivetrains with the motor in the front and electric motors driving the rear.
