While Lancia is working with rebadged Chrysler models in Europe with varying levels of success, British dealers have taken a completely different route and are marketing the 300 sedan under its own badge, not as the an ‘Italian job’.
The 300C executive saloon is making its UK motor show debut this week at the Canary Wharf Motorexpo, Britain’s largest auto show, together with the new Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, a performance SUV that has not been available in Europe until now.

The move is meant to coincide with the UK market launch taking place on June 14th, as the 300C will be available exclusively with the 236 bhp 3.0-liter CRD diesel V6 from Fiat Group. The range that comes in two versions, Limited and Executive, will start from £35,995 OTR.

Meanwhile, the SRT version of the Jeep Grand Cherokee will come with a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine with Fuel Saver technology that turns off four of the eight cylinders when full power is not required to increase fuel economy. But the sports SUV is actually all about the horsepower - 461 bhp of it, which is enough for 0 to 62 mph in 5 seconds and a top speed of 160mph.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
