A new race track is scheduled to open in Australia in October this year, located between Penrith and Liverpool, and known by the name of Luddenham Raceway.
The track is part of a privately funded complex that will also feature a 600m go-kart track and paintball facilities. Measuring 8m wide (10 m on the straight), the raceway will feature significant elevation changes, like a downhill running straight, several crests and uphill hairpins.
Along with other activities, the circuit will host track days, time attack events and even driver training.
Planned for about two years ago, Luddenham Raceway will join several other motorsport grounds in the area, like the Wakefield Park and Sydney Motorsport Park in NSW, and the recently Highlands Motorsport Park launched at the beginning of the month in New Zealand.
