A second arrest so soon after the one that made him famous means more fun-times with his mugshot. His photo got immediately picked up on social media and turned into a meme, while jokes and smart puns kept rolling in, the New York Post notes. You can see a sample of them in the tweets at the bottom of the page.
McDowell himself was amused that people paid so much attention to him, after the earlier arrest. He even posted a video in which he thanked all the “females that have given me a chance,” saying he couldn’t possibly name them all because there would be too many. Subtlety is not his strong suit, clearly.
The second time he got busted was for refusing to pull over during a routine traffic stop, the same publication notes. He engaged police in a chase and was caught when spike strips were deployed. He’s been charged with reckless driving and improper lane usage, attempt to elude, driving with a revoked license, and second-degree marijuana possession.
McDowell posted the $5,700 bond and is now awaiting trial on the new string of charges. His earlier mugshot uncovered a very colorful past, which included plenty of other police pics. He is what you might call a career criminal or, as someone so brilliantly put it, “a necks level criminal.”
