One man from Nashville had so many things to do he couldn’t even find the time to make sure his car had all 4 tires, so he went out with an exposed rim. He was just as busy when the cops tries to stop him.
The man – you guessed it – was eventually arrested by police. It wasn’t before a short chase, because the dude refused to pull over, and not after causing some commotion about not wanting to have the handcuffs slapped on. Then again, who wants that?
WSMV identifies the man as 21-year-old Montae Gray. Police summoned him to pull over when they noticed he was driving a car with only 3 wheels and that sparks were flying from the exposed rim. He refused to pull over, but his vehicle was in no condition to help him lead the police on a chase.
The cops apprehended him when the car stopped on its own. Asked why he hadn’t stopped when he was summoned, Gray told them that “I had things to do,” presumably referring to the fact that he was too busy to be wasting time talking to the police.
“When officers attempted to arrest him, Gray allegedly pulled his arms away and refused to be handcuffed,” the report says. He was eventually put in handcuffs and taken to the station, where he was charged with evading arrest in a motor vehicle and resisting stop & frisk. He had his bail set at $45,000 because – you probably guessed it again – he was not a newbie to the cops.
“When officers ran Gray's name, they discovered he was also wanted on three outstanding warrants for weapon possession,” the report says. Uh-oh.
And now we know why he was so eager to get away from the cops, even if he must have known a 3-tire car wouldn’t take him too far.
