MV Agusta Announces Dual-Mode ABS for All Brutale Models
MV Agusta announces the availability of their latest ABS modules for the Brutale range: 1090, 1090 R and 1090 RR. The new ABS is a Bosch 9MP system and offers dual modes: the Normal one, usable with casual daily riding and the Race mode, suitable for race track or extremely aggressive street riding.
Due to the limited amount of space MV Agusta Brutale bikes have to offer as far as additional parts are concerned, the Bosch 9MP module was the obvious choice: it is one of the most advanced units in production and also comes as a very compact, lightweight package.

The Bosch 9MP incorporates internal pressure sensors and works together with the independent sensors in the brake rotors. By bringing together the data all these provide, the ABS module is capable to offer secure deceleration in the most adverse of riding situations. ABS can be deactivated by the user via the dedicated menu in the bike's control software.

MV Agusta also claims that the braking power and progressivity which have made so many riders love the Brutale bikes are unchanged, and the the bikes offer the same thrilling experience.
