MPV Falls off the Highway in South Korea

We’ve always appreciated the grace and architectural beauty of suspended highways, but we’ve always wondered what happens when people fall off the road surface. Well, this latest video satisfies our curiosity and thankfully, nobody got hurt in the process.
An MPV begins swaying and then sliding from side to side on a piece of suspended roadway, it spins around until it’s facing the wrong way and then falls of the highway rear-first. Thankfully, the driver was protected by a good few meters of ‘crumple zone’ and apparently, nobody got hurt. If this crash had happened 30 years ago, everybody would have gotten hurt.

So, next time you’re on a suspended road (of any kind), drive carefully, as the way down is usually quite long and if you fall with the front of the car, the weight of the engine will keep it pointing down and things will go horribly wrong.
