Every automobile company is preparing for the Geneva Auto Show and this also includes Morgan Motor Company, a British car manufacturer that produced 640hand-assembled cars in 2007.
Thus, Morgan has decided to unveil its most powerful Plus4, a vehicle that has a retro vibe attached to it and was first introduced to the public back in 1950 as a more powerful alternative to the 4/4 model. Unfortunately, 19 years after, the company decided to cease production but was again brought to the public in 1985.

Concerning the current model, Morgan launched it in 2005 and made it available with a 1998cc Ford Duratec engine that develops 145bhp and 140lb ft. Power is sent to the wheels through a Mazda-derived five-speed manual transmission which promises that the two seater will be able to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 7.5 seconds before topping out at 118 mph (190 km/h).

Moving on to the more powerful version due to meet the lime light at the Geneva Motor Show, we’re expecting a four-cylinder engine. Unfortunately, there aren’t too many details available as the company is very keen on keeping things a secret until the big premiere. If we are to consider the words of a Morgan spokesman, we’re in for “by far the most powerful Plus 4 ever.”
