MINI Fans Travel from Russia to France

Have you noticed how the MINI naming system doesn’t make sense anymore? Cooper, Cooper S and John Cooper Works are now overly complicated names for trim levels basically. The system worked fine when it was only the hatchback on the market, but adding Cooper to everything makes it sound stupid.
Whatever you call it, the MINI hatch has more fans than you can count, and strangely enough many of them speak Russian. We were surprised to how many people turned up for the 2012 MINI United event and took part in the massive road trip.

Basically, 11 Coopers went from Moscow, Russia, to France. The bad news is that they are annoying wearing MINI branded clothes with logos on them, but we’ll forgive the people who still own the prettier but less powerful old generation car.
