Mercedes Benz has officially unveiled three different models for the brand new SL, built in different scales. Can’t afford to buy your wife the real Mercedes SL Roadster? This is not really an alternative, but at least it will make for a good joke!
The high grade miniatures are built in the 1:87, 1:43 and 1:18 scales, meaning they are 87, 43 and 18 times smaller than the original, respectively.
All the scale cars were created using the original CAD date for the actual SL, so they should be accurate in their proportions.
The models were built in partnership with Herpa and Norev, they are now available from Mercedes-Benz sales and service outlets, Mercedes-Benz dealership and the Mercedes-Benz Museum.
