Believe it of not, one of the best workplaces in Canada is none other than Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, which was recently ranked by the Great Place to Work Institute for the third consecutive year and even managing to rank number five in the “Large and Multinational Companies” category.
“The contributions of every employee are at the heart of our success as an organization,” said Stefan Karrenbauer, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Canada. “It is our employees who create an exceptional workplace and we are proud to once again be ranked among the ten the best workplaces in Canada.”

The annual competition process for “Best Workplaces in Canada” is based on two distinct criteria: two thirds of the total score comes from a survey that has to be completed by randomly-selected employees, while the other third comes from an in-depth review of the company's structure, which includes an evaluation oh HR policies and internal procedures.

“Our leadership team is dedicated to fostering a workplace culture built on a foundation of trust,” said Gayle Allan, Human Resources Manager for Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Canada. “Each year, we look for opportunities to grow in each of the trust-building dimensions. This year’s results show that our efforts continue to make a difference for our employees.”

Back in 2012, the Financial Services branch of Mercedes-Benz Canada received top honors for its results in the worker's pride dimension, while last year ranked among the top five companies in terms of worker camaraderie. This year, it was the mutual respect respect among workers that received the most accolades.
