While most other non-Japanese manufacturers have experienced a rise in their China sales, Mercedes-Benz did not do so well last month, selling just 15,900 vehicles, which represents a 3.9% drop in last year’s sales numbers. Officials say that this is not due to any decline in the market, or anything of the sort, but rather due to the fact that they just had very strong sales last year.
With the recent launch of the all-new B-Class, Mercedes expects further growth in the next few months, as the company is also trying to reorganize its sales operations in the country, at the same time, to cut costs where necessary and. Also, the new A-Class will make its PRC debut, further boosting their sales, as it will be their most affordable model on the market.

There doesn’t seem to be any letup in the increase of luxury car sales in China, which means that while their economy may not be growing at the rate at which it did a few years ago, things are still on the right track.
