Despite the fact that pretty much everyone was expecting the model to be unveiled at the 2014 edition of the Geneva Motor Show, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Wagon (T-Modell or Estate in some countries) of the S205 variety is still being kept under the covers.
Of course, we already know how the model will look after one of our collaborating spy photographers caught one completely undisguised back in the Fall of 2013.
Not only that, but we also managed to catch a glimpse of a Mercedes-Benz C-Class T-Modell S205 while it was being manufactured in the Mercedes-Benz plant in Bremen, so it is a kind of a mystery why the Stuttgart brand is still dragging the model's unveil.
The following batch of spy photos shows quite a few mildly-camouflaged models being carried to an unknown location by trailers, along with some non-camouflaged sedans, making us think that an official launch is either already being prepared or is just around the corner.
Either way, what is clear is the fact that the upcoming station wagon model wants to leave aside some of the “practicality by design” look of its predecessor and try to impress by a much sexier shape. Despite this, it is expected that it will feature a slightly larger luggage compartment, while a self-leveling rear suspension could be standard in all models.
Engine-wise, the C-Class T-Modell will share all its powerplants with the sedan version, meaning that it will offer everything from a 1.6-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder to a four-liter twin-turbocharged V8 in the C 63 AMG variant.
