Now that the McLaren P1 and the MP4-12C Convertible have been released, the British company is making plans for future models.
According to McLaren Automotive director for North America, Anthony Joseph, the Surrey-based manufacturer is already working on new versions of the 12C and the already confirmed entry level Porsche 911 competitor as well.
"We do have plans for other variants of the 12C model plus a completely new model that will be in the more of an entry level segment range. Probably in the $165,000 price range," Joseph told Motor Authority.
Dubbed P13, the entry level McLaren was initially priced around $200,000 and rumored to go on sale in 2014. Besides lowering the speculated price, Joseph also revealed that the company's cheaper supercar won't be released until 2015 or 2016.
In other related news, the McLaren P1 is expected to be sold out in North America by the end of June 2013.
