The automotive industry is more about evolution – incremental steps to improve every mechanical component. Companies like Aston Martin or Porsche also like to evolve their designs, but when McLaren unveiled the P1, it looked nothing like the F1 of old.
But this does, and precisely for that reason, we can say love it! It’s the MC-1 Design study created by David Cardoso from Belgium. Compared to the mental P1, the lines are much simpler, with fewer creases, buttresses and aero elements.

The headily redesigned front makes us think this could have been a speed machine, much like the P1 was. On the other hand, McLaren themselves are focusing on creating downforce in a machine that’s supposed to cut through the air and stick to the ground like no other.

Tell us what you think: is this a gentleman’s supercar or just plain boring?

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
