Unveiled at this year’s Geneva Auto Show, Gemballa’s new McLaren 12C-based GT Spider has been revealed in full.
While the changes are only visual, with McLaren’s twin-turbo V8 engine being left in its stock factory state, the Gemballa GT Spider is far from being a common-looking vehicle. Gifted with a new carbon-fiber body kit that changes everything from bumpers and side skirts to wheels and tailpipes, the Gemballa-enhanced McLaren promises to add an individual twist to the familiar British sportscar.
Thus, for €19,980 ($25,647), customers will receive an aerodynamic package that consists of new front bumpers, rear bumpers and side skirts, which can be either installed by the company or shipped worldwide if desired. A set of GForged-one ultra-light alloy wheels, in 20 and 21-inch diameters for the front and the rear respectively, is also included, with two paint options (“Black Magic” or “Gunmetal”).
The rims can also be ordered with an optional diamond cut finish for their spokes or in an individual color, but this requires an extra €7,980 ($10,243). Inside, the leather/Alcantara upholstery, as well as the instrument dials, can be had in any individual color.
As a reminder, the McLaren 12C Spider sports 625 HP under its hood and can reach a top speed of 333 km/h (207 mph).
