Gemballa is a tuner known for making some of the most extreme project cars in the tuning world, stuff like the Ferrari Enzo based MIG-U1 or a diamond paint finish to impress Pamela Anderson with. So when they announced they were taking on the mighty McLaren Spider, we were concerned.
Fortunately, the end result is less extreme and leaves the MP4 Spider recognizable and quite beautiful in fact. We're talking about a body kit made from carbon fiber that is made up of new front bumper, side skirts and rear apron.

Cosmetic goodies also include a set of 20 and 21-inch staggered GForged alloy wheels wrapped in low profile Michelin Pilot Super Sport 245/30ZR20 (front) and 305/25ZR21 (rear) tires.

Even though Gemballa actually own fully homologated GT3 racing version of the MP4-12C coupe, they've left the British-built 3.8-liter V8 untouched, which means it's still got 625 PS (616bhp).

The new body kit will be revealed in full at the Geneva Motor Show early next month.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
