Supercar makers started this teasing game, but mainstream manufacturers have taken it much much further. Too far, in fact, if you ask us, as these days you simply can’t get away from the masses of teaser photos and videos every time a new car has to come out.
Thankfully, the all-new Mazda6 sedan already peaked our interest. So even though the fourth teaser video they released is pointless, we don’t mind having another look at the car.
The sedan and the subsequent wagon to follow are both designed using the KODO language, which is supposed to help them in breaking out of “the constraints typical of midsized sedans.”
"Drawing on the untamed vitality of nature, we refined a design that is sensual and artistic. The KODO design expresses the powerful beauty of a living organism. With its low center of gravity the car seems to hug the ground as it sprints along. Just wait until you see it in the flesh!" said Mazda6 chief designer Akira Tamatani.
