Max Mosley's Son Dies of Suspected Drug Overdose

The son of FIA president Max Mosley, 39-year old Alexander Mosley, has been found dead in his West London home on Tuesday. The news came via British tabloid The Sun earlier today, whose report also shows that the economist's death could have been the cause of a drug abuse.

Although the drug overdose part is yet to be confirmed by the British police, the Metropolitan officers revealed that the paramedics did not manage to save the man's life when arriving to the scene of the incident. They are also to officially confirm the identity of the deceased.

We were called at 16.20pm on Tuesday to reports of a male found dead at a property in W11 (Notting Hill). He was pronounced dead at the scene. The man is in his late 30s. We believe we know the identity of the deceased. The coroner's office has been informed,” the police was quoted by the aforementioned source.

Alexander was Mosley's oldest son, while his brother Patrick is 37-year old.

The report from the British newspaper did not bring any further information on the incident, neither did the Scotland Yard. An official statement from the latter is expected to be forwarded to the media in due time.
