Mother of all colors, this one’s for the ages! After introducing the Fire Orange paint for their limited-run, absolutely crazy BMW E92 M3 GTS, the Germans decided to keep it available as it proved to be extremely popular.
Fast forward to 2014 and you’ll notice that a couple of variations already started to show up, including Matte wraps. At least that’s what we think this LCI M5 is wearing as it stuns the bystanders in New York.
The car was spotted by a keen-eyed Autogespot photographer and we simply can’t get over how good it looks. Sure, it might be a bit too flashy for a daily driver but as a concept it’s definitely eye-catching, to say the least.
Adding to the contrast are the blacked out kidney grilles up front , the similarly colored roof and mirror covers. Round the back, another black detail catches the eye, in the shape of the boot lid spoiler that makes all the difference in the world back there, despite being such a subtle change.
With 560 HP and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft) of torque at its disposal, fed to the rear wheels by a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine this beauty not only talks the talk but also walks the walk. Splendid!
