With the BMW M5 turning 30 this year, a lot of attention will be focused on what the Bavarians will do to celebrate 3 decades of super-sedans.
Rumor has it that the Goodwood Festival of Speed will be the place where BMW will take the veil off a special edition model that will be celebrating the excellence of the Motorsport division.
Some even went further as to speculate that the 30 Years Edition M5 will not only have a special look to it but it will also feature an improved ‘heart’ making more than the stock 560 HP and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft) of torque.
However, no official info came in from BMW and we’re just left hanging for now, hoping that most of these rumors come true. How beautiful would a sub 4-second M5 be?
Until then we have to settle with other M5s around the world, one of the looking extremely sharp and hailing from Indonesia. We’re talking, of course, about the one featured in the adjacent gallery.
It’s dressed in Mineral Grey and features some 21 inch MORR MS52 wheels that have also been finished in a shade of gray, this time mimicking titanium.
Underneath those rims, a set of Brembo GT brakes can be seen while at the back an Meisterschaft exhaust makes its presence felt when the engine is turned on.
For the new stance, a set of KW V3 coilovers was used while up front a Vorsteiner lip cuts through the air at high velocity, to make sure nothing gets in the way of this BMW. We’re hoping the anniversary M5 will be looking at least this good!
