By making their hypercars with hybrid drivetrains, Porsche, McLaren and Ferrari really are killing two birds with one stone. First of all, they add more power without doing the same with the emissions, and secondly, they make everything else they do seem that much cooler.
McLaren has put the face of the P1 on a different car, Porsche is preparing a full lineup of hybrids which the 918 helps to promote while Ferrari… well they have a line op products (non automotive) that are actually called LaFerrari. This is probably the easiest way to explain why the successor to the Enzo has such a funny name.

Readers with an appetite for glossy mags and a long memory will of course remember the Enzo had a brother from Maserati. It was called the MC12 and it was big, brash and beautiful. Now, people are demanding Maserati do the same again with the Enzo's successor and we can see why.

This latest rendering from Evren Milano is just a hint of what could/should be coming our way. Such projects are of course very expensive to put into production, but if the Lamborghini Veneno can find a customer than so can this, don't you think? If our last post about the old-timers and their 3500GT passion proves anything, it's that there are plenty of die-hard fans of this brand out there.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
