We’re back with another Ferrari Enzo-related story from this year’s Targa Newfoundland Rally, Fortunately, this doesn’t involve a tuned incarnation of the car taking a dive in the ocean. Instead, we have its Maserati sibling, the MC12, which is being powerslid in a parking lot.
Let’s get things straight: Instructor Roland Linder offers Ron Fehr, the driver, proper left foot braking instructions, explaining how this tames understeer and allows the rear end to step out (you can read about the technique in our dedicated guide), but the latter decided to use the redneck way of overpowering the rear tires.
As we’ve written here, this can work perfectly, but this driver doesn’t seem to have a clue about the overpowering technique and spins the car repeatedly. However, seeing an ultra-rare exotic being punished like this is always entertaining.
