Every gearhead out there has tried to imagine what the future holds for the automobile at one point, and since the skies are not crowded at all, most of their visions include flying cars. But is that really viable?
Well, first of all, you will have to have real flying cars, and we know what you're probably thinking that we do. But they're not really cars, but tiny aircraft that have the ability to drive down the road occasionally. So, you'll still need a flying license to operate them. Plus, they don't exactly look good with their wings folded up.

Fully autonomous driving should be part of the car world sometime, so maybe the brightest minds in the industry will be able to mix a flying car with an autonomous one, right? Chances are the answer is yes, though, at one point, some owners will decide to spare a few bucks and do the maintenance and other work by themselves. And that's a disaster waiting to happen.

We could go on babbling about the future of the car industry for many more paragraphs, yet we will proceed to the real reason behind this story: Mansory. Yep, you never really thought you'd see the words flying car and Mansory in the same phrase, did you? Well, you were right, as it's not a viable project, but one that steps into Fantasy Land with a CGI mix of various models that are more or less exotic.

The renderings shared on social media recently by the controversial tuner are on the OTT side of things. We can see certain design traits that came from Lamborghini, Ferrari, Bugatti, and even Dodge mixed into a brash-looking project that tries to mirror the look of a real car up to the hypothetical wheel arches, throwing in a lot of sharp angles, small wings, and a body kit that makes it worthy of a Mansory.

What do we mean by that? Unless you're new in the tuning game, you likely know that this company is responsible for maiming the looks of some of the best vehicles ever made. They've been doing that since 1989, so their portfolio is very vast, as it includes numerous models from various brands. And since money doesn't buy taste, their over-priced proposals sell like hotcakes despite being ugly (okay, most of them are).

We wouldn't trust Mansory around a flying car, just like we wouldn't trust anyone who hasn't received real training to touch a single nut or bolt. However, we're likely safe from having flying machines crashing into buildings over the next few decades, as this idea is very tricky to implement. So, what's your take on the tuner's CGIs shared in the image gallery above?
