There you go, another thief that fancies Lexus vehicles. After we’ve seen the guy in Japan that “borrowed” a Lexus to pay his grandma a visit, we learn about a burglar that used a Lexus to escape the police in Canada.
Toronto Police was alerted to show up at a strip all at the intersection of Yonge Street with Silverwood Avenue for a burglary attempt. As soon as they arrived at the place, the thief tried to escape on his motorcycle, but he abandoned and hijacked a Lexus RX.
Rushing to escape, he run over his motorcycle, which remained stuck in the car’s undercarriage causing lots of sparks.
After about eight kilometers, the Lexus caught fire from all the sparkling and the suspect abandoned it, trying to escape on foot. He was tracked by police dogs and arrested on some nearby tracks.
