LUXGEN7 SUV Sports+ and MPV Elegance+ Unveiled

LUXGEN7 SUV Sports+MPV Elegance+The introduction of the special editions
LUXGEN introduced its special editions LUXGEN7 SUV Sports+ and LUXGEN MPV Elegance+ during the 2011 Taipei Automobile & Accessories Exhibition. The two models feature new exterior appearance and interior design.

The new LUXGEN7 SUV Sports+ comes with black/red two-tone paintwork, that gives it a sportier character. It also sports carbon fiber body garnish coupled with blackened lights all-round. The SUV sits on large 20-inch sporty alloy wheels and has quad exhaust outlets that will get you noticed. Inside the vehicle, custom touches include black/red two-tone suede seats, suede steering wheel, carbon fiber center console trim and the aluminum sporty paddles. Measuring 4.8 meters long (5 ft and 9 in), 1.93 meters (6 ft and 4 in)wide and 1.76 meters (5 ft and 10 in)  in height, the LUXGEN7 SUV is also among the largest in its segment while maintaining elegant proportions.

The SUV is powered by a newly developed 2.2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine, producing 175 hp at 6,000 rpm. The petrol unit is coupled to a five-speed automatic transmission equipped with manual shifting function and what Luxgen describes as “intelligent Transmission Control Module with 10 built-in operation modes.” The automatic transmission was developed by Japan’s Aisin.

The standard LUXGEN7 MPV has evolved into the exquisite Elegance+. The interior of the MPV is designed with top-end luxury features, such as the classic "diamond quilted" two-tone suede seats, brown leather steering wheel, and classic walnut wood trim. The few exterior changes include the addition of 20-inch elegant alloy wheels.

Also present at the show was the LUXGEN7 CEO, the company’s forth model, designed for exclusively corporate decision makers on the move.
